A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To state it differently, if you deactivate an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any misspelled address under the same domain name, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you won’t miss an email for any reason, which could be essential if you run a business, for instance. Since you may begin receiving junk emails, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filtering software in order to receive only legitimate messages in your inbox. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all e-mailbox effortlessly in case you’ve got a shared hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet extremely intuitive, and it will enable you to activate various features, including the catch-all one, with no more than a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be listed alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each one you will notice a small "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will activate this option, clicking it again will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another one with this feature enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.
